TTS specialty systems are a combination of one-off engineering projects for specific solutions or many cases variations of other systems such as Retrievable Straddle or tubing patch system. Many of these systems have purpose beyond the original design targets.
Examples:
Velocity Enhancement String for Gas Wells
Long Patches or Scab Liner Installations
Without the use of a rig, we install smaller tubing inside the existing well production tubing to patch wells with severally corroded and eroded production tubing. Using our paragon packers, we isolate the old production tubing so that all production and pressure is isolated and diverted to the smaller concentric production string.
Shoot and Squeeze System
We use this specialty system in P&A operations by making one trip into the well with a work-string. A zone is perforated and squeezed off with cement.
Specialty Packer Design
When our current offering does not fit a specific well bore, we can create a custom specialty system to fit the well’s needs.
Wireline Specialty Tool Development
Multiple-Barrier Deployment Techniques
Quite often during non-rig well intervention operations it is necessary or desired to install long sections of tubulars into the well, such as sand screens and similar tubular assemblies. This necessity creates many challenges for operators and service companies with regards to maintaining well control during these installations.
As most non-rig well interventions involve the use of coil tubing or wireline operations intervening through the existing production tubing on live wells, a means by which to install these long assemblies into the well while maintaining multiple barriers of well control becomes a necessity.
